It’s VINTAGE SATURDAY! This light turquoise 1950s gown has the most beautiful pleated bust and bodice. It comes with a shawl that I’ve tied here so it looks like sleeves. Paired with pearls and a belt, it was a great look for a small wedding where I was the maid of honor.

I collect vintage midcentury ceramic ashtrays - not because I smoke, but because they make excellent bee baths. The cigarette ridges are great perches for these little ladies - who are prone to drowning if the water is too deep. (These are never used for cigarettes, and are routinely cleaned.)
