We have made the decision due to the new Australia law amendment for social media that now goes into effect to block access to Australia. We do not collect user data and due to this we have no way to do age verification.

The rules on Hey.Café are really simple. This is a clean, safe space where abuse or threats of any kind will not be allowed. On top of the rules listed every café can have their own set of rules they can enforce, but our global rules supersede all others.

I'll second this. I tried roughly a dozen social networks when I left Twitter, and @hey.cafe is the only one that didn't just feel like a clone of something else.
