Did make it to the park on a long lunch break today, and to everyone's surprise (actually overheard joggers talking about it) the sun came out for a bit, too.
Some birds there, but my favourite today was this adorable squirrel working hard to get to the bird feed.

Really hoping for a nice blue winter day soon-ish. Went out to the park this morning, and didn't even see any birds apart from the usual mallards, and one(!) blue tit.

A "few" #wigeons and teals on the river yesterday. The wigeons especially were very communicative, fun listening to their whistling.
Then, suddenly, all had disappeared (while I crossed through a small wood, lost sight for maybe 30 seconds). I blame the guy in the last pic 😍🦅 #birds #eagle

Not hard to find, but I've only been to the city once since I started birding.
