I heard songbirds this afternoon for the first time in weeks. And strawberries are all over the grocery stores & fruiterias 🍓 Happy reminders that spring is on its way ☺️

#Riparian Seeing as how it is World Wetlands Day, here's a pic of my favourite spot to spend the day with my camera. This a storm sewer over flow pond that backs onto a designated riparian zone. This pond acts a nursery for various duckling species as well as amphibians, muskrat and songbirds.
