Similarly I don't think we've even scratched the surface of what TTRPGs can be as a form/medium yet, and I think game writers would benefit from looking at experiments in other mediums for inspiration

i'm currently calling them "window games" fwiw! works that act as a little partial portal into another world, where a sort of mundane inhabiting of it is the real heart of play.
foolishly thought my blog post about inventing a genre label that encompasses Hypnospace Outlaw, UFO 50, and Blippo+ would be simple. instead it just seems to keep growing like a mental sourdough starter ;w;
