I'm guilty of this myself -- posting and just assuming that if people see it, they see it, and if they don't, it's on them. The horror of Meta (and probably all socials) is the comfortable presumption that affirmative outreach to people you care about isn't necessary. Socials without the social.

One time I saw wild wolves in Alaska but it was through the horrible windows of a little plane so it looked like this.
