We did Thanksgiving yesterday for family scheduling reasons and today I am thankful for my lunch made up of side dishes. Each one made by a different family member and all delicious.

The hounds are killing me with cuteness but also attitude. Penny took over the toddler chair years ago (the toddler is now a teenager) and Fergus started stealing it, making her sad. So I bought him his own chair and now they are crammed into one dog bed. Sure.

My kid came home today and informed me that he needs cookies and cups for a party in theater class tomorrow. Not quite as bad as the time I volunteered my pregnant mom to make two last minute bûche de Noel for French class, but tonight she gets the “child just like you” payback.

Tonight I figured out how to change the bulb for my car’s headlight! I felt like a genius for about 10 minutes and then the tire pressure light came on. Sigh. It’s just because the temperature dropped but my victory was so short-lived. 😏

@fatedmates.net I read The Last Days of Lilah Goodluck after you put on the Best Of list and wow it is so good! Thanks for the rec. Now I’m torn between wanting to read every other Kylie Scott book immediately or the other two Best Of books I got from the library 😄
