Posting hobby stuff basically. Beginner art, writing, games, IT/Cyber, etc. Sometimes politics cause I pay taxes.
Tip for today:

Outrage without consequence is incitement to do it again.

One way to kill #AI funding would be that if you want to say AI is sentient it should pay taxes as a member of society and count investments as that AI's income/gifts.

Either acknowledge the machine isn't a living being, killing consumer hype, or pay taxes on billions.

Alright #Umamusume glue eaters. Someone shared this with me on Discord and I'm about to tell you why this girl is super beatable despite being S+ rank. This is more of me trying to exercise some analysis muscles so some feedback would be appreciated.

I feel like Mapra would be a much better character if he was a commentary about how society views older men interacting with younger women as inherently sexual regardless of context rather than a "haha he's a closeted pedophile" punchline.

Watching the chatter around Duet Nights Abyss has me convinced the people talking about games aren't actually interested in games but wannabe video essayists posting their script rough drafts in the hopes of getting hired by a random Youtuber.

Several months ago, actors made it clear that they were withholding work from Genshin Impact because of a lack of basic AI protections

Hoyo fans told them it would/could never be an issue

Last night, Hoyo posted several official videos promoting Genshin's new mode

Something more people should know is that many of the SCOTUS cases upholding the right to abortion and gay marriage are also the legal foundation for the right to privacy based on the 14th Amendment.

Attacks on these rights should be framed as an attack on the right to privacy, because they are.

The number of people mad at BSky for following shitty local laws instead of the state for making shitty local laws is ... concerning?

People have so little faith in their ability to affect political change that they're depending on corporations to do it for them. Maybe that's by design.
In Ohio, starting on Monday 9/29, we'll be implementing an age assurance solution similar to what we're doing in South Dakota and Wyoming. Read more here: bsky.social/about/blog/0...

I was told that Bluesky is not currently and doesn’t want to be put in a position where payment processors can dictate content policy on their platform, rather specifically. Same with advertisers.

Specifically, they told me that the primary intent of the language people felt were intended to go after furries was to be able to take down ai/deepfake content intended to look like “the real thing” quickly.

So I had a call with someone at Bluesky, and obviously, we still want to keep our eyes peeled for problems, but I came out of it pretty reassured that it’s not Bluesky’s intent to go after furry art and queer expression.

Something that is often understated is the C in FGC.

The biggest joy for me was finding people I could test out new strats and tech with, getting feedback in real time. Then running back home to build off of it.

The biggest killjoy was learning our schedules didn't line up cause I work weekends.

A new minister in Albania charged to handle public procurement will be impervious to bribes, threats, or attempts to curry favour. That is because Diella, as she is called, is an AI-generated bot.

Social media *should* be boring. Being algorithm and dopamine poisoned is bad, actually.

When your feed dries up for the day, that's your cue to go do something else until new stuff shows up later.
