A trip to Leeds this week and a chance to visit the fabulous arcades in the city centre. So many surviving and in excellent condition. County Arcade is particularly lovely and described by MacKeith in The History and Conservation of Shopping Arcades as ‘flamboyant’

Lifted the last of this year’s dahlias, still holding on to their flowers. Been excellent this year for dahlias and these little Pom Pom ones grown very easily from seed 🌱

It’s been a gloomy day but the autumn colours continue to brighten up a late afternoon walk. The beech trees and hedges have been particularly beautiful. #Perthshire

Recently visited Teasses gardens in Fife. Stunning planting and full of bees and butterflies. Worth a visit if you’re in the area (open Thurs/ Fri only) and lovely cakes too! 🌱 #BloomScrolling #Gardens
