I have grown bored of social media and constantly posting about political stuff, so time to change it up just a little. There is more to us than politics and it does not shape us as people. We are so much more.
If an alien civilisation were to look at the Earth whether it be from near-Earth orbit to many millions of lightyears away, they wouldn't see any sign of intelligent life on the planet for them to make a visit worthwhile. 🛸👽
BREAKING: @barackobama.bsky.social clarifies his position on aliens after his answer during the speed round of our interview went viral.

I had a Nexus 5x which was recommended by all the top tech YouTubers at the time. Mine bootlooped within 14 months, Thanks LG.

Regarding "stock Android" as the author cries for. Real stock Android is barely usable and why we have skins on top (OneUI, Pixel launcher).

I love my Pixel, but I'd trade it for this in a heartbeat
I'm missing the stock Android experience

I have no doubt Apple shows proper journalism rather than fairytales on YouTube, dodgy blogs, weird Facebook pages/ groups, conspiracy theories and unsubstantiated opinion pieces.

After all, facts don't care about the aforementioned "sources".

Being in the 25 - 49 age group, I would say apprenticeship in the industry I am in now, rather than having wasted 3 years on the course I did study at university. It definitely wasn't worth the £3,290 a year when the course was still in an experimental phase.
Britons are more likely to say they'd choose to do an apprenticeship than a university degree if they were 18 again, as National Apprenticeship Week draws to a close

Apprenticeship: 51%
University degree: 33%

I don't know who he is, but according to Wiki, he moved his tax residency from Hampshire to Monaco and saving himself about £4 billion in tax.

If he wants to talk about colonising, which country what it that had 1/3 of the world shaded pink again?

Imagine if social media went back to a time where you ONLY saw content from friends you follow and not having to drown in a sea of recommendations, "for you" tabs and suggested pages you can only hide for 30 days.

I was almost run over by someone mounting the footpath at speed on a mobility scooter. I thought those things were nerfed to average walking speed, not a 10-12 mph killing machine. The rider couldn't have cared less, but I have no doubt she'll hit someone one day and won't stop either.

It would seem that Windows 11 adoption has hit a wall with users reverting back to Windows 10, or jumping ship to Linux, MacOS, iPadOS and even ChromeOS, to avoid AI features and hardware restrictions imposed by Microsoft.

Early data suggests users drifting back to Windows 10
From Patch Tuesday disasters to the "Microslop" PR nightmare, Windows 11 is losing trust. It's also losing one more thing: market share.

I wonder if he remembers where his constituency office is? It certainly isn't in Washington D.C. and his Clacton office must be gathering dust, dead flies and spiders by now.

I wish I had the 256GB Pixel 8 Pro rather than the 128GB as I didn't think the photo and video file sizes would be so big. However and taking a page from a certain Captain 2 Phones, I have a Pixel 10 256GB as my main device and my 8 Pro remains the camera.

Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeare’s Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again.

I heard this plane has been to the scrapyard since the tailstrike. Not sure if its true or not, but apparently it was patched up, flew at 12,000ft to its final destination and it will never fly again.

The people uploading AI slop on YouTube and other social media platforms, are playing a huge role in the increase of RAM and GPU prices. Not to mention shortages of consumer parts as companies like Micron and Nvidia shift to providing AI data centres with hardware.

I was listening to James O'Brien on LBC earlier talking about the death of the high street and in part, attributed it to online shopping.

I would say the death of the high street started far earlier when supermarkets started selling books, games, toys, CDs & DVDs, magazines, homeware and clothing.

Drumming up donations for the residents of Clacton On Sea, no? Oh, just for his sanctuary of former Conservatives then.

Give it enough time, I am sure the residents of Clacton will be putting up missing persons signs for Farage. Not unless he does a 30p Lee and ends up in the wrong constituency.

If I took an apprenticeship rather than going to University between 2010 - 2013, I would likely have a more financially secure life and a stable career. I feel a lot of time was wasted with pointless theory from authors showing they know how to use a thesaurus and not saying much in the effort.
This is absolutely shocking. Something has to be done about this appalling situation in which so many now find themselves. The government needs to act
