we gotta keep hammering over and over again just how fucking unpopular this guy is with every institution and every person in a position of power

people hate him and people will hate you for capitulating to him
Enten: "This is probably the worst 10 day period for the president in the polls his entire second term. The numbers are just atrocious ... when your best poll has you 14 points underwater, you know it's truly bad and it's as bad as 26 points underwater ... -43 with independents! They despise him."

Well, I guess it’s time for me to cut my hair and stock up on twinsets and pearls…

Look folks gen AI videos are out in the wild so if you weren't already being careful about sharing rage bait videos then now is a great time to start

If you can't trace a video back to a trusted source then I recommend leaving it where it is, like a slice of bologna you found on the street

Between now and October I’d really just like to set an out-of-office email response that just reads, “I’m tired and I don’t wanna.”

COVID-19 hit when my only bebe was in kindergarten. Throughout G’s elementary education, he’s endured a pandemic, virtual school, hybrid school, teacher turnover, along with the normal growing pains. Tomorrow he graduates from the 5th grade & all I keep thinking is, “We f***ing did it.” 🥂

AI is not intelligent. Don't use it. We can always tell. If you can't write your own sentences and research, you shouldn't be a journalist, novelist, student, scholar, or member of Congress. Full. Stop.
This was just posted by @tbretc.bsky.social on another platform. The Chicago Sun-Times obviously gets ChatGPT to write a ‘summer reads’ feature almost entirely made up of real authors but completely fake books. What are we coming to?

But…what if you’re paid to correct someone’s grammar?
Also, David Mitchell is a national treasure.

Influenza A can eat a bag of butts. Trying to live all the life I can before it inevitably takes me down too.

My new part-time job is finding an orthopedic surgeon who will address the root cause of my knee pain that also accepts my insurance.
Since it’s not a “sexy” problem, like a sports injury, there’s probably two in the entire state. Sigh.

Yesterday it was nearly eighty degrees and I had dinner on the patio—twelve hours later it’s twenty degrees with a windchill of five degrees and there’s a light dusting of snow on the ground. 🥵🥶

I’ve been challenging myself to cultivate more social and non-book-based hobbies, so inevitably the same week I reach out to a stable regarding adult riding lessons, my knee starts flaring up 🤦‍♀️

It’s January 31 and I haven’t received a single W-2 from anyone, and my tax appointment is in two weeks. Sigh.

My neighbors are REALLY invested in this relationship; they bought a second skeleton to go with Kelce.
