Here in the UK, there is a lot less yellow. Hence why they are part of a new classification: LBJs. Otherwise known as little brown jobs.

The Colorado state bird is the Lark Bunting. It's not a Lark or a Bunting but it's black and white so it's cheap to print pictures of it.

We just need to know one in Texas: the golden-cheeked warbler is threatened, it's the only bird that breeds exclusively in Central Texas (migrates to Mexico in the winter) and it should be our state bird and not the played-out mockingbird
