Temp this morning was 24°F (-4.4°C) thankfully not too windy. Layered up and had one of the best feeling runs I’ve had recently. Shaking off a cold and a groin thing from earlier this week so I’m very happy to be moving like this. 💙 #runsky #negativesplits

Rest day yesterday had me pretty restless. I went for a long walk in the woods… I sometimes feel like a shark that has to stay in motion to keep breathing. Charity run this Thursday morning to look forward to this week, and the holiday weekend.

I’m celebrating big wins in my nutritional goals this week. Last October I started addressing the big problems with saturated fats in my diet and I’m seeing real progress in all measures.

Mentally much needed miles and first hard effort since the marathon. Foot is still sensitive but I’m back to wearing insoles and it seems to help a lot. Curse these high arches 😑

Spent about two hours hiking in brown county this morning. Loving the fall sights, elevation, fresh air. Feet and legs feel strong. 💛 Heart full of gratitude.

Glad I took today and last Friday off work so I can rest and reflect.
Saturday was the biggest day of my life and I just am so, so glad I took on the challenge. And I’m delighted I got to know so many of you fellow bluesky runners along the way. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and encouragement!

Just trying to be patient with myself now as my feet recover and soaking in the incredible memories. Excited to share some official race photos when they become available but my crew got some good ones. I felt so supported and loved by my friends and run club throughout this undertaking. 💛
