I complain a lot on here about the bad parts of West Virginia and Appalachia. But afk almost daily I have moments of awe in this place. Driving by this field and a eagle flys overhead - takes my breath away. It's my home by birth and choice. There is not a US state where I'd would rather live.

i think being born the year of a world changing hurricane and then being named the nickname for that exact hurricane and then THAT being your nickname at home because you're naturally messy changes something in you :/
