Tier 2: "Oops, All Canes" group. This is the fan who only cares about the Canes. Not sports in general. Oh there's a football stadium next door? Basketball played in that building? Never noticed. The Canes, and Canes only. Best encapsulated by this meme.

Tier 3: "Dundon Haters". Highly unique group that has proclaimed, multiple times, they're done with the team because of something Dundon did or didn't do. And yet when the Canes lose, they certainly know about it and take great delight in sharing.

update - I went to STM hub at the app, and found it there. And, this morning, I am able to add to my phone's wallet. There it doesn't seem to be dynamic, so maybe I can do a screencap that my coworkers can use when they go to games?

I was able to get there (had to reinstall the app last weekend though). The QR code is dynamic, it changes every minute or so, so it's not able to be a screen capture. I didn't see that it could be added to my phone's wallet either. Need to figure this out for my company who has full season tkts.

I think that's exactly it - they're so infatuated with the star power of MacKinnon and Makar they don't see the flaws, lack of depth and consistency. (TBL has superstar Vasilevskiy too, and they also elevate the Rangers on Shesterkin, and their memories of Panarin and Zibanejad)

Why don't we hear about how "disappointing" the Avalanche are and read paragraphs on how/why they can't get "over the hump"? One Cup win, years ago (a shortened season), but eliminated after one or 2 rounds every other try. They're still in the Top 3 in most projections every year.
