finished my first week of dry january and my perception so far is that I drink enough to find this somewhat annoying and not so much that I feel radically better in any way. A thing I don't appreciate is that I have been having vivid dreams nearly every night and my brain is bad so they're not good

I feel like I'm a pretty normal guy. job, wife, kid, house, car, and normal guy concerns. I really gotta wonder how people are ok with shit like this man. It's been going on for a long time.

in the process of eliminating all non-stick pans from my cooking and made it over my morning omeltte hurdle with a cheap carbon steel pan my buddy gave me. now the final frontier is the spanish omelette which requires a large pan and fying of potatoes/onions without sticking.

i had to share the virtual game card for monster train onto my son's switch so i just bought myself monster train 2 so that I don't have to deal with that clunky assed game sharing on a game we're both playing.

had to "i've been doing this for 15+ years and I have a good idea blah blah blah" on the phone today to get the correct service from one of our vendors and I dunno I can get used to it lol. Like guys I buy your product every 3-4 weeks like clockwork please understand that I know when it's fucked.

Had one of those workouts today where it's like I should just go straight to bed. I gotta look at my records cause I forget but I think I have 2-3 more weeks of this program and then I might dial it back a bit for a few weeks before I go to Japan.

all the parents out there struggling financially during these hard times I can offer one piece of advice and it's: don't get into TCGs with your child if you like having money (ask me how I know).

Picked up monster train again as I never finished the last few covenant ranks. On 21/25 now. I like the game but it seems kinda random sometimes and I've never bothered learning all the cards and relics or whatever they're called. I just sort of play based on vibes and never try specific builds.

Made it to Toronto and back without incident. Good visit with friends. Not exactly thrilled to be back.

Playing some knockout tour after not really touching Mario Kart World for a while it's a fun game mode. I think they just sort of barely missed the mark on this one but hopefully they will expand on it in some way.
