Hello. Yes, we believe that the 2022 ballot initiative to increase the minimum wage should be upheld as voters approved. However, our mailer has been focused on the 2024 ballot initiatives that aim to increase economic prosperity for children and their families.

We urge the #NELeg Revenue Committee to support LB 157, and we thank Senator Conrad for her unwavering dedication to Nebraska’s children and families.

ELE has been proven to be a successful approach for significantly enrolling & providing care to children in other states:
For example: Louisiana has experienced tremendous results. Prior to ELE, it was about $116 to process applications. Now, the cost is $12-15 per application.
