Interesting hearing just now before Judge Ana C. Reyes in the case brought by 8 of the 17 inspector generals whom Trump fired 1/24 by Trump. She said she won’t rule “anytime soon” but seemed to be leaning toward granting plaintiffs an injunction. ...

As a 25+ year practicing attorney who worked at some very large law firms, this capitulation is not surprising. Biglaw firms are filled with partners whose sole sense of worth is measured in dollars, and not in justice.
