My biggest regret that I will carry for the rest of my days is the fact that I saved my abusers life. I could, and should have just sat on my hands and let him die, but I didn’t and now he is free to carry on and harm other people.

A lot of people in the US have kids simply because we are an embarrassing nation without healthcare, and it’s the only hope we have of someone caring for us in old age. I’m not having kids and I can’t afford to retire, so I don’t know what’s going to happen to me when I’m no longer useful to society
