One thing I cannot stand is when people say, "it will never happen because of ..." and when it happens, they freak out. We keep warning people of what's coming, and they're acting as if the GOP gives a fuck about laws & regulations, etc. When even a conservative SCOTUS has shown them otherwise.

I bought the book (Wild Faith)! It was incisive and distressing and vital, and I recommend it to all. The audio version read by the author is so good.
After the G. W. Bush era I kind of lost the plot on the Christian Right and told myself they had been relegated to the margins. Oh how wrong I was.
