(1/2) The only people I can see this actually working as a "waiver" for are non-binary people who have never discussed hormone therapy or gender-affirming surgery with their physician, have never gotten a gender dysphoria diagnosis, and are willing to go back in the closet to protect their careers.
There is no "waiver" to the trans military ban.
The only waiver is for people who have NEVER attempted to transition, who have remained closeted, and will continue to remain closeted.
That's not a waiver for trans people in the military. It's a waiver for people who are suspected of being trans.
