I think issues like this is basically why Image, Dark Horse and other companies were created back in the day, and why their comics hit different

Page counts (approx 22)and number of issues (3-10) in cape comics, which sometimes forces the story to flow badly or kinda crap in the end, I’ve noticed. Basically when creators can’t choose the story pace/length and/or they know they could be cancelled any time, which is a bummer.

Difficult isn’t the same as challenging or fun. And just if because things worth doing aren’t often easy, the world would be a better place if it would, so I’d personally re-think that mindset.

It’s the dosage that matters here; a teaspoon of charcoal in a drink can’t negate the alcohol in the drink more than a teaspoon of alcohol can get you drunk. You need enough charcoal to absorb the element, and studies suggest its not helpful with alcohol anyway: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/3710499/

To be fair, you need up to 50-100 grams of activated charcoal taken within some hours of taking the med to have significant effect on medicine, where as most foods only use teaspoonfuls.

My theory is that they're made of oobleck, and the alternating properties is what allows them to also create the friction to grasp objects. Maybe THIS is the real difference between magical/non magical ponies? Unicorns have spider-like legs and earth ponies oobleck.
