The saying that "A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is still putting on its shoes" was true even a century ago. Today, in the age of social media, a lie can rack up millions of impressions in the time it takes to rebut it. Share responsibly!

1. The DOGE website is garbage.

The claimed savings has no relationship to the data provided.

And the data that is provided grossly inflates the savings from each canceled contract.

So we just launched our own site — the Musk Watch DOGE Tracker — that breaks everything down.
Introducing: The Musk Watch DOGE Tracker
New tool reveals Musk has overstated verified DOGE savings by at least 92%

This was looked into by the Inspector General. They released an entire report about it in 2023. Some of the records for people born in 1920 or earlier didn't have death dates. Because it would cost $5.5 to $9.7 million to fix, they said, "Meh, why bother? They're not getting checks."
The Social Security Administration is aware of this non-harmful discrepancy. There is an entire Inspector General's report on it.
