The buyout for Stoops is astronomical but I have a bigger problem with whatever they have to pay to buyout the assistants. Bush Hamdan will get something like $1.5 million for an offense that scored 17 points over the last two games.

Vandy beat the pants off Tennessee last night with a transfer QB from New Mexico State who will most certainly not get drafted by the NFL. How does that happen while UK strikes out three years in a row on transfer quarterbacks?

As I've said once or twice on here, what makes the situation harder to stomach is seeing the likes of some ascendant programs this season and what they've done with much less than Stoops has at his disposal, not to mention his tenure.

This was a signature Stoops season - almost. Ups and downs, looking really great in some wins and then really terrible in the losses. But it is missing a big win to actually say the season was a success. Florida was the closest thing, but ultimately the Gators were so bad I can't count it.

My hot take is that Heineken Zero is the best one at basically tasting exactly like regular Heineken. Don't know what that says about Heineken as a beer but the zero version definitely serves its purpose.

Re: the state of journalism: it consistently gives me hope that I know of so many people doing good, thoughtful, impactful, ethical journalism and creating spaces for it. It exists, it matters so much, and supporting it whenever possible matters, too.
