I laid awake in bed this morning stressing out about the future of social security. Then I went on social media to see conservatives deluding themselves into thinking that things will get better eventually and that the destruction of our country will be worth it in the end. Infuriating.

Trying to wean myself from FB has been hard. I’ve been on it since it was invite-only so checking it is an over-twenty year habit. It just occurred to me to turn off notifications. Baby steps.
