“Doxxing. Ghosting. Felching. Dorries. New words frame hideous new concepts for which there were previously no words.”

‘Dorries’ 😂

And he’s back!!

Sunday isn’t Sunday without Stewart Lee. We were so thrilled at @thenerve.news that Stewart came with us.

His satirical columns for the Observer were some of our most-read content: funny, surreal, angry true. Essential weekend reading.

This Friday is Bandcamp Friday, where all proceeds from sales on the site go directly to the artist. Support independent music, and especially this banger of an album by Oxford’s drunk rock legends Arthur Turners Lovechild?

The flag shaggers have been at it at Barton Roundabout, Oxford. Now, don’t get me wrong, I like a good flag of St George, like when the our awesome multiethnic Lionesses won the European Cup and stuff. I probably wouldn’t fly one at half mast though. Are the flag shaggers in mourning?

Farage promise to "stop the boats within two weeks of winning gov't" unravelling.

Apparently, it means "after passing laws", "as quickly as possible", he "believes", the boats will still cross, but all will be deported "if necessary" and "sensible", "unless we have a duty of care".

Bravo, Beth! 👏🏽

Quite. Labour really need to sort their shit out. I resigned my membership after the Islands of Strangers speech. Vote doesn’t count in Ox West anyway. So, at a loss as to how else to register my utter disillusionment at what a pig’s ear they are making of this.

Blistering from @iandunt.bsky.social Like him, I am clinging on to the idea that inside Starmer there is a better man trying to get out. But agree that on the current evidence this looks increasingly naive.
