While one half of the new @lund-university.bsky.social Physical Geography MSc students were setting up an EC system in Alnarp the other half was in #Hyltemossa getting a tour of the @icos-ri.eu setup, conducting photosynthesis measurements & estimating aboveground biomass.

And here a short video of Mikhail's soil chambers in action. We are very confident they will work well since the design has been tested under harsh conditions on Greenland. So far we only operate NEE/CH4 chambers but we plan to add dark respiration chambers and trenches to exclude tree respiration.
