Well! Turns out if the silicone sock on your Bambu A1 is a bit torn, maybe you should get a new one! I didn’t know how much they are until now and I understand if $3 is prohibitively expensive
But
the whole hot end, the fans, and the tool block are *slightly* more expensive

I found a much cheaper blood testing method. It too only requires a few drops of blood, and can be performed by any pilot who is carrying a source of heat

Controls were big arcade buttons from Adafruit and Microcenter so they could handle what kids could dish out. Instead of more precise but *fragile* potentiometers. I also wanted them spaced apart so that that kids would have to cooperate to control the arm. Next time I'll triple that distance!

You can really feel the mania radiating off me in these photos. When the kids controlling the robot arm managed to sink the basketball through the hoop I leapt into the air and yelled very, very loudly.
