In business, any effort you expend is a bet.

And every bet you make *should* have some threshold for success:

"Given this investment, this is the ROI I need."

The hard part? Many bets fall below the needed threshold.

And, one more thing 👉
The diagram demonstrates how effort investment can lead to different outcomes - either meeting expectations (hoped-for payoff) or falling short (actual payoff), with success being measured against a defined threshold.

I've had a weird relationship with making music for the last few months.
