I love watching people play the Yakuza games, but one of my favorite things is imagining the lives of the NPCs. And how many bike messengers and delivery dudes and commuters have to explain that their sole transport got used as a bludgeon to beat gangsters to a pulp.

GOOD DEVILS : it was fucking awesome to work w/ @davidbrothers.bsky.social again and I was so excited to design for @nickdragotta.bsky.social's frenetic and gorgeous panels. I looked at a lot of anime & manga & action posters for this and had a blast incorporating Nick's inks into the design itself!

it's absolute wild not to credit the creatives for their work.

Anyone who reads comics knows how important colorists are to making a comic book outstanding.

Fans all have their own favorite colorists, like artists, inkers and writers. Seeing those creators names on a books helps sell them to me.

Reminder: these are real screen tones. That means applying the darker tone, from which they had to painstakingly cut every pill, then apply the lighter tone on one pill at a time (most of them with slightly different shapes), and finally gently scratching them individually to get the glow effect.
