The thing about this point in history is that when they look back at this insanity, it wont be from grainy footage or a few memoirs or some government cases. The proof is literally everywhere. People will be just dumbfounded at all of this idiocy.

The impacts that having such openly vile opinions while your indiscretions and indecency towards others are championed will be virtually irreparable in whatever moral foundation is left for the future. How are we to raise children to be respectful of humanity when they rarely see it in adults?

One of the great things about Better Call Saul was how much it sidestepped what so many prequel stories seem to do lately. Sure it gave depth to Jimmy/Saul that we didn’t always see in Breaking Bad, but it didn’t attempt to justify his flaws. He made bad choices.

To me, modern Christmas music era starts around Little Saint Nick. Basically once who we know as classic rock bands and Motown started making Christmas songs. All the crooning and choir crap before that is traditional.
Contemporary is a different meaning. To me that’s just always recent years.

Question: what is the cut-off for "modern" or "contemporary" Christmas music? It has dawned on me that a lot of Xmas songs that I think of as "modern" rather than "traditional" are actually like 40 years old lol

I’ve never actually been to D.C. (which is absurd having lived all my life in NJ). My friend took his family there recently and I said I couldn’t see myself doing it anytime soon. I just can’t reconcile the history with the volume of terrible people operating there and what it’s become a symbol of.

The amount of bullpen games that happen in short playoff series in baseball is embarrassing and just makes me want to abandon the sport. How do teams get this far and then think this is a sound strategy, particularly when they gas their bullpens by pulling their good starters so early?
