My number one hobby may in fact be annoying my sister in law in the group chat.
Everyone gotta have a hobby!

People loved the Astonishing style Wolverine Marvel Legends. People loved the Ditko sculpt/paint Spidey. Just imagine what they could pull down if they did an artist series where they did figures in the style of Humberto Ramos or John Romita Jr. or Humberto Ramos!

“Pleased with man as man to dwell” is such an unfathomably banger line of incarnational theology I can’t bear it. We oughta be singing Hark, the Herald Angels Sing all year round.

Today I learned about the @canadapostcorp.bsky.social strike just because I checked the tracking on my silly little Spider-Man novel I ordered back on 11/13. Anyway, go get your terms, Canada Post!

Sorry to play into a semi-obnoxious subgenre of Spider-reader, but Spectacular Spider-Men has really dug its heels into being strictly street-level, and I’m here for it!

If you read that incredible Esquire piece about homelessness by a former (now unhoused) Boston Globe reporter, read this next.
Denver gave people experiencing homelessness $1k/month. A year later, nearly half had housing.

They also had fewer ER visits, nights spent in a hospital, and jail stays.

The report estimates that this reduction in public service use SAVED the city $589k.

Denver gave people experiencing homelessness $1,000 a month. A year later, nearly half of participants said they had housing.
Participants in Denver's basic-income program reported having more-secure housing, though results were similar in the trial and control groups.

“And one more thing.” Jesus reached out his hand, passing a jar of Potbelly’s hot peppers to Peter.
“I don’t understand,” the disciple confessed.
“You will,” replied the Christ, a cloud of dust swirling beneath his feet as he began to ascend. “You will.”
