I guess all I’m saying, never underestimate a career politician’s ability to sound “deeply concerned” about something people are upset about, while doing absolutely nothing (🚫, nada) to change it one iota.
He has very real power, but is using none of it so far.

Yeah, I’m not sure honestly (I’m no lawyer). It sounds like they probably need a lawyer, but I know that’s not a free option (sigh). I’m really sorry that’s happening to them.

When I had a collections agency pulling BS on me over a bill they couldn’t provide any information about what the original good/service was, I started writing our state-level Sec of State office who handles fraud complaints. Mine was a small bill, but the agency dropped it entirely in the end.

U.S. law enforcement was founded on slave patrols. And they absolutely killed white people at the time (“race traitors”) who got in their way. Tactics and protected interests are the same as today.

I don’t even know if I’m right about this (certainly not in 300 chars), and I’m already getting angry replies because sitting with a subtle deeply-nuanced human-feeling point isn’t how a micro-blogging platform works. Not when everyone’s upset & tryna out-pure each other with verbal sucker-punches.
