Adams must be removed. The city cannot sustain being governed for nearly a year by a Mayor who is being coerced by Trump admin in order to escape charges.

This corruption poses a real threat to the people of the city. He should have resigned a while ago, but will not. So it’s time for him to go.

The possible dismissal now is a huge gift to Adams.

The New York City Campaign Finance Board cited the indictment in refusing his 2025 campaign’s request for public funds, and he could now argue their refusal is no longer valid.

The acting U.S. deputy attorney general contended that the case against the mayor hampered his ability to devote "full attention and resources" to illegal immigration, a top priority for Trump.

Bondi's Justice Department looks poised to prosecute blue state doctors who mail abortion pills into red states, probably under the Comstock Act.

She's also very likely to restrict access to medication abortion WITHIN blue states by declaring that *all* mailing of abortion pills is unlawful.

Trans youth are entitled to the same care as their cis peers - it's the law.

Breaking news: President Donald Trump is preparing an executive order aimed at eventually closing the Education Department and, in the short term, dismantling it from within, according to three people briefed on its contents.

Closing the agency would require congressional approval, so the new administration hopes to diminish it in the meantime.

Music journalists, can we think about this?
Unfortunately the stuff that most people are consuming online to distract themselves from politics (or because they don’t care about politics at all or think politics are going swimmingly) is also a covert pipeline designed to make them more conservative. Lifestyle, entertainment, pop culture, etc

Shout out to my liberal tech industry neighbors in Brooklyn for working for companies like Palantir to develop surveillance systems used by our Deporters in Chief. We build the infrastructure of fascism, and they use it.
Apps and ankle monitors that track asylum seekers. Databases packed with fingerprints and faces. To carry out mass deportations, President Trump's administration could access a stockpile of tools that is nearly unmatched in the Western world, according to an analysis by The New York Times.
The Surveillance Tools That Could Power Trump’s Immigration Crackdown
Border enforcement agencies have spent billions assembling surveillance tools to track and find people. These could be critical in President Trump’s immigration agenda.

This new Benjamin Booker album captures the desperation and vulnerability of our current moment. It's a brilliant listen and huge credit has to go to Kenny Segal for helping BB execute his new sound. Go listen to LOWER now. It's great to have him back and I can't wait to see him at Public Records.
