HAWLEY: Let's see the Trump chart. You don't think it's a little bit anomalous that Trump has so many more nationwide injunctions against him?

KATE SHAW: A very plausible explanation you have to consider is that he's engaged in much more lawless activity than other presidents

Tommy Tuberville: "We have entire men's teams across this country now that are tuning trans. Women's teams are turning trans. That's gonna be a situation where it's gonna pick up speed because these woke globalists are pushing these kids."

Wonder what Neil Gorsuch and Amy Coney Barrett think of this elephant they're finding in the Clean Air Act mouse-hole
The Biden administration had put new rules in place to reduce emissions from power plants. Now, by pointing to an obscure section of the Clean Air Act, the Trump administration is offering companies an extraordinary out.
E.P.A. Offers a Way to Avoid Clean-Air Rules: Send an Email
Referring to a little-known provision, it said power plants and others could write to seek exemptions to mercury and other restrictions and that “the president will make a decision.”

BREAKING

President Biden is considering commuting sentences of most, if not all, of the 40 men on federal death row.

If he does commute, they would serve life without parole.

A broad coalition of religious and civil-rights groups has been pressing him to take the step.

whether you think it’s fascism or “competitive authoritarianism” or whatever, this era will be characterized by Trump using state power to lean on his private sector enemies, and most of them will capitulate.
JUST IN: A day after Trump and George Stephanopoulos were ordered to appear for depositions, they settled the case.

ABC has agreed to make a $15 million contribution to Trump presidential museum/foundation and air an apology for mischaracterizing the E. Jean Carroll verdict.

Thinking about the over-under on whether SCOTUS would uphold a blanket pardon for every federal crime until the end of time

No one would ever issue that, but if there's ever a strong movement to abolish the federal criminal code for some reason, then idk man lol

“If some child says, ‘I’m going to run an elephant through here and it’s going to tear the school up,’ are they going to be arrested?” a Tennessee judge asked. “Even though there’s no elephant in sight or within that child’s control? I don’t know.”

A state law makes threats of mass violence at school a felony, even if they’re not credible. Judges and school officials say the law unnecessarily traumatizes kids.

Glad to see he's attempting to save the possibility of reindicting in 2029 by asking for dismissal *without* prejudice.

I'm not super enthused to watch how that plays out against the whole "Donald Trump pardons himself on January 19, 2029" thing, but we'll see how it shakes out I guess
