I had a convo with a colleague right before Thanksgiving about The Washington Post. They were furious that people were unsubscribing.
"This will only hurt reporters, not Bezos."
When I asked them if maybe readers aren't trying to hurt Bezos but simply no longer trust WaPo, they look scandalized.

I’m sure I’m not the first person to notice this, but I can’t get over how the media is so obsessed with the CEO’s killer but barely cared about the person who tried to take down DJT. I really wonder why this is.
