The @kcchiefsnation.bsky.social season cratered when Rich Jones did not try to tackle Charger Quarterback Herbert on a 4th long in the 1st game of the season. It's the little things that symbolize your real intent. The Chiefs have achieved NFL mediocrity allowing the Cowboys to beat them.

I am thinking Andy Reid is going to retire at the end of the season. I also think Andy hopes that his buddy Matt Nagy will replace him as the HC. The same Nagy that was an utter failure as HC for the Bears. As OC for the Chiefs his play calling makes Mahomes look average.

There are lot of "loud" voices on Bluesky saying they are defenders of Democracy. The only one I am seeing kicking MAGA butt and giving me hope on a daily basis is Marc Elias, @marcelias.bsky.social . Seriously, it is the best $10 I spend per month.

I loved Starbucks. I figured out I have spent over $30,000 at Starbucks over the past 30 years. So a $94 million a year CEO tells a $14,000 a year Barista they cannot have a meaningful raise? I am taking my $1000 a year coffee habit down the street . Now I am a "used" to love "snatchbucks"

I am in awe of yesterday's election results. At 76 years old it occurred to me the Golden Days of the USA Democracy was in the past. The shit wreaked stench of the MAGATS would foul my children and grandchildren's future. I woke up this morning with hope, albeit small, but hope nevertheless.

I think it’s bad enough that the MLB allows betting advertising in between innings, but putting up an ad with the betting line or whatever in a graphic on screen during play?
Given the prevalence of problem gambling it’s IMO inexcusable.
