Working on a big sewing project so I got my machine out and found what I was working on when I put it up. A practice piece of art quilting I was playing with. Drawn on muslim, hand painted ink watercolor, free-hand quilted. Checked on color fastness (no color loss on washing).

Since the Kennedy Center basically no longer exists, watch them honor Led Zeppelin with Heart doing Stairway to Heaven with Jason Bonham, son of John Bonham, playing drums. It brought Led Zeppelin boys to tears.

For those interested in the process: 1) Introduced/assigned to committee 2) heard in committee 3) second reading vote 4) third reading/final passage 5) goes to Senate. There are legal timeframes for each step, 24 hrs I think. It won’t go to 3rd reading until Thurs or Fri.
