The literature on this phenomenon generally uses the term "sousveillance" (for a kind of surveilling counter-surveillance).

Is there something in the article stating why they think these students are affluent? I would've thought one reason why you're seeing more accommodations is that when people get necessary accommodations then they are more likely to perform to standards that would get them into elite colleges.

She lost most of her conservative fan base in her divorce (20+ years ago). She’s been hanging out in lefty Christian spaces for quite a while now.

My oldest and youngest are very adventurous and passionate about food. (They get that from me.)

Middle kid (for reasons related to his particular neurodivergence) eats very little and very narrowly and (for ethical reasons) is now a pollo-pescatarian.

So food is a big topic of discussion.
