Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

Honest question here: why would we want to have a ballroom that holds 999 people. Do we ever want that many people at that site for entertainment? Seems like a security nightmare.

What a boring parade it will be. Imagine sitting watching dozens of tanks go by. 1 would be interesting. A better idea: invite each state to create a float or
2 that celebrates their state. Do it with colorful earth friendly materials. Actually celebrate America instead of terrifying it.
