been reflecting a lot today on women’s covert collectivizing, the women who start sewing groups or cooking collectives to coordinate actions, pass on communications, and keep their traditions alive. particularly the palestinian embroidery tradition of Tatreez, which i find breathtakingly beautiful.

A pattern for a Palestinian motif for cross-stitch, I couldn’t find which region this was from, it seems pretty ubiquitous to many different areas
