people not from LA maybe don’t get how mixed into nature it is

from my balcony, in addition to squirrels and songbirds, I’ve seen:

hummingbirds
ravens
hawks (one even crashed into our balcony door)
parrots
bats
raccoons
possums
coyotes (sauntering right out in the street looking for pets to eat)

so many of the people who made me believe i could transition and have a writing career are people i found on social media first

and i have a lot of friends I’d never have otherwise

DC's Misfits of Magic happened because of social media and that's something I've dreamed of making since I was a kid reading DC's Who's Who in 1985.

Like everything humans create, social media can be used for good and used for bad.

I really like when we use it for good.
