One thing I want to borrow from programming in my design practice?
Commit often. It's so easy to get lost in the details and forget. But being able to look at what you did, and why? Priceless.
Figuring out the cadence of commits for a chunk of work is definitely a skill.

Update: Retopology is done, and I'm testing out poses and range of motion with a skeleton in Blender. The suit's texturing is a placeholder, and the face and hair are a work in progress, but it feels great to have gotten to this stage!

This is what is possible with #3Dprinting #modeltrains : Michal Brož 3D modeled and printed this G scale type 749 and powered it with PIKO 36105 motor blocks. It's such a strong example of just how far printing has come and the level of bespoke detail is possible even with FDM.
