A US AG openly defying Congress, refusing to answer questions - why was the Homan investigation dropped? Why was Comey indicted after the DOJ repeatedly found insufficient evidence to prosecute him? - and bringing a hit list of lies & misleading accusations to hurl at senators.

sorry - courts have largely gone along with that assumption (that the TROs fit the exception), even when they don't ultimately grant the appeal.

I think Chris explained in his earlier reporting that higher courts can hear appeals if the TRO "acts like a preliminary injunction" & DOJ has claimed orders against the Trump admin fit that exception - even when they don't ultimately find for the government.
