This is the problem when Carragher does Liverpool games - so determined not to come across as biased that he overcompensates the other way. Yeah, Liverpool not good, but the idea that they would be ‘desperate to get to half-time’ was absurd by him.

I'm not going to pretend that was great but to listen to the commentary you'd think Sunderland were slicing Liverpool open time and again for big chances galore. Not what I saw.

Wirtz & Bradley injured ffs. Was looking forward to seeing Flo play again, feel like he’s made good progress last few games and been trusted a bit more. Bradley… no surprise. Seems a common pattern, play a couple, miss a few, and repeat. Looks like Szoboslai or Jones RB which is far from ideal
