well at least that's why i found myself stuck to the stories i love. i know that even if madoka's fandom becomes small, i'll still be there thinking about it
utena's fandom is small but i've noticed that the fans are very deep into its messages, which is also why i'm saying this

the fandom is small (at least in the west?) but it seems pretty lively from what i saw
i think a reason why madoka and utena have lived for so long is because they inspire thought and analysis, specially by the nature of their endings. it makes you think, what comes next? that's for you to imagine

we recently watched utena because someone compared it to madoka with no further context
i recommend it if you want a very surrealist queer story that makes you think a lot about what's going on. can't get enough of reading others' thoughts and making my own observations too lol
