This is how you know Bluesky is not sufficiently decentralized.
They’ve now suspended Sakher who was genuinely the model for how Gazans are supposed to behave on this platform accounting to moderation.

He never reply spammed, never random dmed, only posted his link on his own page, made a ton of friends and commented authentically to them.

@prospect.org This article contains an error. prospect.org/politics/202...

It states:

"Ordinary people will have their deposits protected through the FDIC’s Deposit Insurance Fund, but that insurance, indirectly funded by depositors, will pay stablecoin investors first."

Which is not true.

Here's what's good about stablecoins:

Firstly, they eliminate one of the main blockers to transacting with crypto - the instability.

Other recent improvements to blockchains like Ethereum mean that the transaction fees are dramatically lower than other electronic payments like credit cards.

Joe Rogan is a comedian who started a podcast which caught on and became popular beyond anyone's expectations. I don't care for it, but this is how show business works. A calculated plan to find "the liberal Joe Rogan" is stupid and will certainly fail.

By their definition, "liberal Rogan" is an oxymoron. The most defining feature of Rogan is that he asks open questions and lets the guest speak with minimal interruptions, avoiding questions that shut the guest down, and presenting the result unedited.

I dont believe that an 82 year old man with the best medical care in the world, frequent checkups, and even scrutiny had prostate cancer growing undetected until it was metastatic.

Actual photo of left wing media shooting themselves in the foot.

I've listened to Joe Rogan, Russell Brand, and Lex Friedman and consider them all moderate or even left of center. But the so-called "progressives" have made the definition of "left" so exclusive that it has naturally shrunk!

Most, if not all, arguments against crypto depend on ignoring deep hypocrisies about the dollar. Some folks are so deep in denial that they'll immediately block you for pointing it out.

I hate the dollar. Its environmental impact, the scam of payday loans, the fact it's used to facilitate dictatorships, narco gangs/gun runners, child pornographers, human traffickers and the American empire. The promises of it being totally stable or a way to uplift the poor are nonsense.
