Don't forget, ICE agents are human beings. Many of them have families that they are away from. Just saying this because, I don't know, for some reason I felt like pointing out a fact I don't give one single shit about.

That's exactly it. Pokerface was what we Columbo fanatics were craving, a twisty and funny how-done-it with a quirky, distinctive, charismatic lead. Natasha Lyonne was the Peter Falk we so desperately needed.
I would be okay with a show that was a modern take on the Rockford file format ala Pokerface/Columbo. Just don’t reboot Rockford. If you get the concept right, and write it well, people will get it.
