I've been sexually harassed and threatened while on the job, been sent to unsafe places at night, and plenty of other scary situations. I wish more people realized what this is actually like for drivers, esp women delivery drivers.

And before you say it's bc of bad service- I've never seen someone start off with a $0 tip and then add something after the fact bc you did a good job. Last night, someone did that only after they screwed up my delivery so badly that it wasted 20 mins of my time. But never, ever, besides that.

Guys please if you order Doordash, please tip your driver. Like a server, they don't earn minimum wage in most places. They're getting paid $2 to use their own car, spend their own gas money, and drive in whatever weather conditions to bring you that McDonalds. For $2. Please tip them at least $3 🫠
