i once saw someone on xhs said that when you're in a period of uncertainty in your life, or when you're feeling unsure etc, it's recommended to go study history.
that saying has stuck in my head ever since i saw it and i do think it makes sense and it works.

when this happens, i get so demotivated to continue threads and drafts bc it just feels like they're not interested. which means if i don't continue, i don't even get to write which is the one thing i enjoy doing and like -- it just goes into a circle again and again
if they do, they are doing a very good job of not making me feel or think like they do
